In the emerging sport of technical tree climbing (utilizing rope and harnesses) there's a lot of emphasis on your connection with the tree, and "tuning into tree time". I was thrilled with my first climb since getting Vibram Five Fingers, and have never felt a deeper connection with a tree I was climbing. I could actually feel the bark underfoot! Thanks for your wicked concept in footwear. Life will never be the same. p.s. " the photo was taken at about 110 feet in an Eastern White Pine in the southern Adirondaks of NY.
